These videos were taken during a June 10–11, 2008, underwater dive inspection of the Caples Lake outlet works sytem. The dives found the reasons for the operational problems experienced and also served to collect vital information for the design and installation of the new gates. The sluice gates were found to be heavily corroded, have missing components, deformed parts, and in need of complete replacement. |
